In person Yoga Classes are back!
25th August 2021
At last, I am back teaching yoga in face to face classes! It is such a joy to be able to welcome you back to the beautiful Narborough Parish Centre for yoga classes on Monday evenings and Wednesday mornings.
It’s been lovely to see so many familiar faces returning to classes after such a long break. And, I’ve been lucky to welcome some new students already too. I’m back at the same times as before. On Mondays I have two classes back to back. The earlier Yoga starts at 6.35pm and finishes 7.50pm. The second class starts 8pm and finishes at 9.15pm. Our Wednesday morning Yoga class starts at 9.45am and finishes at 11am.
All classes are suitable for beginners as well as those with some yoga experience. I always offer lots of options in every pose so there is something for everyone. Each yoga pose can be seen as a continuum. There is a place where we all begin together; standing, sitting or lying down. We start move in the same direction towards a particular shape, but along that path there are many opportunities to pause. I’ll also always give suggestions as to how each pose can be adapted to suit your particular anatomy.
The idea of a pose is to give you a framework for your movement. It shouldn’t restrict you. In yoga, any teacher is actually just a guide, the real teacher is your own body. Learning to understand your body is part of the journey of yoga.
If you’re ready to start your own yoga journey, why not come along to one of my classes.
